Using on-court demonstration, Coach Smith teaches the match-up principles, alignments, and trap options for full-court man-to-man, 1-2-1-1, and 2-2-1 pressure. He also demonstrates 1-2-1-1 rotations for stopping often-used press-breaks such as a 1-4 or a clear-out. Progressive drills are included to improve team defensive posture and communication. Each of the defenses in this video use virtually the same rotations and trap options as the ball is advanced, and can be used independently or in combination!
