Biography

Cy Alexander is the head men's basketball coach at Tennessee State University, a position he assumed in 2003. Prior to taking the reins of the Tigers' men's hoops program, he served in the same position at South Carolina State for 16 seasons (1987-2003). Before that, Alexander served 11 seasons as an assistant under A.B. Williamson at Howard University. A graduate of Catawba College, Alexander is widely respected for his knowledge of the game and his ability to build programs.
