 This is a good play to run when a three pointer is needed. The play is designed to give two different open looks from the three-point line, for two different players. Running this play will sometimes take teams by surprise, as so many teams look for layups on the inbounds, some aren’t prepared to defend the perimeter instead. 1 pops to the corner 5 and 4 step into the paint and set a double screen for 2 2 rips the double screen to the top of the key |

3 steps into the paint after the inbounds, then executes a change of speed, change of direction cut and comes off of a down screen from coming off of a double screen from1. 2 passes to 3 off of the down screen of 2 doesn’t have the first look from the top of the key.
