HoopClincis re-launch – 3/12/09

We’re getting ready to  re-launch HoopClinics this Thursday, March 12th.  There are several new features to all of the HoopClinics products.  One important feature that I’m excited about is a members area that customers can access immediately after purchase.

The reason for creating membership areas is threefold (is that a word?):

The first reason came from our experience with previous customers.   Each HoopClinic is very expansive on the clinic topic and includes several video clinic breakdowns on the topic.  We originally offered the products as downloads.  Unfortunately, all of the videos made download times very slow for some customers.    By building members areas, we’ve eliminated that problem.  Now,  all of the content is instantly available online.  No long downloads…just log in and enjoy the  material.

The second reason is personal.  I’ve purchased several digital products (eBooks, videos, etc.) over the years.     Sometimes,  the product gets misplaced or accidentally deleted off of my hard drive.   The end result…a waste of my money.  With a members area, all of the content is always available in the same place.  Just come online, log in, and enjoy  (-:

The  third reason is that I can provide updates to a members area.   I should say up front that I every HoopClinics product is something that is payed for once…even though there is a members area for each product, there is no recurring charge.  So…I can’t promise regular (monthly, weekly, etc…) updates.  But…when I come across related materials that I think members will find useful, I’ll upload them to the members area for instant access.

Tomorrow, I’ll talk about another cool feature of HoopClinics.  After months of looking for cost effective ways to deliver a physical product, I’ve found a great solution.  As a result…every HoopClincis purchase will include a windows/mac compatible CD that is instantly delivered to your home.   There is no additional cost…it’s included in the product.  All you have to do is choose the shipping option that best fits your needs.
