Ed Schilling Mandatory Moves Sneak Peek

I’ve been making some bold statements about the upcoming release of “Mandatory Moves” – mainly about Ed Schilling’s teaching ability and about how the Mandatory Moves DVD will be useful to coaches and players of all ages. Luckily, I was able to convince the folks at Fullcourt Basketball to show a sneak peek clip of the DVD, to back up my claims. This is a short clip on one of the short corner moves taught by Coach Schilling in the DVD.
Here’s what stands out to me, and will make the DVD one that is constantly referenced by coaches who buy:
1. He’s constantly teaching – In this clip and throughout the entire DVD, Coach Delivers nonstop instruction in a clear, easy to understand manner.
2. He always provides a “reason why” – It is critical to not only tell players what to do, but to also tell them why they should do it – this is good teaching that leads to understanding – and growth.
3. His communication is clear and concise. It is also somewhat repetitive – a sign that he is focused on communicating in a way that allows his audience to learn quickly.
